Job summary

OU Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for Psychiatry in Oklahoma City. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, order and interpret tests, and develop patient-centered care plans within the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with physicians, nurses, and students, ensuring documentation accuracy, and promoting evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: graduate of an accredited school of Nursing for APRN or medical track for PA.
• Licensure: RN/APRN or PA license in Oklahoma; prescriptive authority within 30 days.
• Certification: BLS required; NCCPA certification if PA track.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical assessments across patient ages and problems.
• Orders diagnostic studies and interprets results.
• Develops and adjusts the plan of care.
• Maintains EMR documentation.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care.
• Facilitates coordinated care and team communication.
• Involves patients and families in care planning.
