Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for the Inpatient Neurology unit. This part-time role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and management of neurology patients within a multidisciplinary team.

The APP collaborates with physicians, nurses, and faculty to ensure safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include history-taking, orders, documentation, patient education, and participation in research and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school: APRN (MSN) or PA with PA-C.
• No experience required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical assessments across the lifespan.
• Orders diagnostic studies and interprets results.
• Develops and evaluates care plans and documents in EMR.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care and coordinates with the health team.
• Engages in education, research opportunities, and quality initiatives.
• Communicates effectively with physicians and care teams and advocates for patients.
