Job summary

A dedicated behavioral health organization in Parkville, MD is hiring a Rehabilitation Specialist to provide person-centered support and program operations for their Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. The candidate will conduct assessments, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulations while working with clients to improve recovery outcomes. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a mental health license are required. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Mental Health professional license such as LGSW, LGPC, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
• 24/7 On-call availability for client crisis needs.
• At least 2 years of direct care experience working with emotionally disturbed youth, adults, and/or families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Provide supervision for PRP workers and educate clients and families.

Skills

Mental Health professional license

Experience working in a PRP or behavioral health setting

Strong documentation skills

Organizational skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field

Master’s degree preferred
