Ideal candidates bring deep program knowledge, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to train staff while driving continuous improvement in operations and governance.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge in program subject matter obtained through experience and/or education.
• Extensive knowledge of provider agencies and their programs and services.
• Extensive knowledge of source materials and laws governing the programs.
• Ability to develop and implement new policies and foresee implications.
• Ability to present to internal and external customers and officials.
• Analytical skills to evaluate information and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor program objectives, KPIs, and actions to achieve them.
• Direct, plan, or implement policies and activities to ensure operations and productivity.
• Interpret and explain policies, rules, regulations, or laws to officials or stakeholders.
• Recommend and implement corrective action plans to solve program problems.
• Prepare funding and service implementation reports for approval.
• Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations.
• Ensure program requirements meet federal and state policies and grants.
• Develop, train employees or consultants on program requirements.
• Coordinate and deliver communication plans and communications.
• Serve on boards of directors and management committees.
• Recruit, onboard, and train employees ensuring clear expectations.
• Set expectations, measure progress, and evaluate performance with quality standards.
