Job summary

Sevita’s ResCare Community Living is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage and coordinate programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities. You will create service plans, lead team meetings, and ensure consumer and guardian participation in planning.

The role involves scheduling vacancies, monitoring plan delivery, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Candidates should have a related degree, experience in the field, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social Services required.
• High school diploma or GED plus related experience as substitute per regulations.
• Minimum of two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in managing systems, processes and people to achieve outcomes.
• Valid driver's license is typically required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate multiple programs and projects within the service site.
• Schedule and chair screenings for program vacancies and manage waiting lists.
• Develop and implement service plans within target timelines and after significant changes.
• Monitor service delivery, train staff, and ensure compliance with regulations and contractual requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of consumer progress, discharge planning when appropriate.
• Manage budgets for staff hours, expenditures, and resources within approved limits.
• Support staff recruitment, retention, and performance evaluations.
• Foster collaboration with funding sources and external partners.

Education

BA/BS in Business, Health Care Administration, or Social Services

High school diploma or GED + 3 years related experience

Two years verifiable work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities; supervisory experience preferred

Experience in managing systems, processes, and people

Valid driver's license
