Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and Justice, Social Sciences, Psychology, or related field required.
• Two years professional experience in criminal justice or counseling with adult probation/corrections.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and reporting processes.

Responsabilités

• Supervise caseloads of adult misdemeanant offenders placed on probation through courts; apply standardized risk classifications.
• Conduct assessments and pre-sentence investigations; monitor compliance with court-ordered conditions.
• Provide probation counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to treatment and community services.
• Prepare reports, violation documents, and recommendations for sanctions; testify in court as required.
• Coordinate with prosecutors, defense attorneys, law enforcement, treatment providers, and community agencies.
• Maintain accurate case records and participate in staff meetings and policy development.
• Provide supervision to support staff and assist in case management activities.
