The role emphasizes patient-centered care, preventive services, and chronic disease management, with collaboration across physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and care coordinators.

Qualifications

• Masters degree from ARC-PA accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification required
• Ohio PA license active and unrestricted
• Prescriptive authority for the role
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive primary care assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Provide preventive care, screenings, and immunizations.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and healthy lifestyles.
• Identify care gaps and coordinate referrals with the care team.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and follow-up.
