Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Delaware & Delaware County, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to efficiently sort and process quality merchandise and create price tags for items requiring tickets.

You will also welcome and assist donors, helping them navigate the donation process with a positive, customer-focused approach. In this role, you will handle Softline and Hardline items, price merchandise according to guidelines, and support loading, unloading, and stocking activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in donation processing or retail environment is a plus.
• Ability to learn software applications.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure safety, security, and protection of customers and assets.
• Fulfill all production functions and assist with donation functions.
• Maintain continuous flow of Softline materials to meet daily production quotas; sort and price items.
• Maintain continuous flow of Hardline materials; sort and price items per guidelines.
• Assist with quality pulls and stock merchandise by classification on the sales floor.
• Safely assist in loading/unloading trucks; price, sanitize, and tag furniture and large items; place items on the floor promptly.
• Perform housekeeping to keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction; work with customers, community groups, and co-workers to promote the company mission.
• Perform other duties including recovery functions as assigned.
