Job summary

Adapt-Community-Network in Manhattan is hiring a Preschool Director of Education Program Services to lead and supervise all program components for children served, ensuring compliance and high-quality education. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Special Education required.
• New York State Permanent Certification as a Special Education Teacher required.
• New York State Permanent Certification as a School Administrator and Supervisor required.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, hires, orients, trains, appraises, supervises staff.
• Oversees daily operation of the program including education, clinical, medical, clerical and maintenance.
• Develops, implements and monitors program budget and policies.
• Acts as liaison between parents, school districts and community partners.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and quality assurance plans.
