Job summary

CQ Medical in Avondale, PA is seeking a reliable assembler to join our team. Primary duties involve assembling mechanical parts and sub-assemblies, following blueprints and work orders, and using measuring devices to verify quality.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 2 years of assembly or manufacturing experience, computer literacy, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and fluency in English. Shift is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm, with benefits starting day one including medical,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years' previous assembly, manufacturing, or maintenance experience.
• Must be computer literate.
• Experience in fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read and speak English fluently to understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect assembly and assembled parts.
• Use drawings, tools, and other equipment to meet specification.
• Ability to handle large and small parts.
• Effectively build and install a wide range of miscellaneous mechanical assemblies, mechanical components, and/or sub-assemblies.
• With minimal supervision, follow assembly drawings, blueprints and supportive documentation.
• Ability to use various tools and equipment.
• Process machines safely and with little direction.
• Must be able to accurately use measuring instruments.
• Knowledge and ability to interpret basic geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
• With minimal support, troubleshoot mechanical problems during start-up.
• Continuously work to improve process and procedures.
