Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Specialized Pre-K Substitute Teacher to assist in implementing our curriculum and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment. You will help children develop socially, physically, verbally, and cognitively while supporting teachers and families.

You will partner with families and center staff, assist with monitoring and recordkeeping for State Public Pre-K requirements, and contribute to enrollment goals and engagement.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Pre-K required training or certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Able to engage with children safely and actively.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with implementing the curriculum and state Pre-K requirements.
• Support daily monitoring and recordkeeping for state Pre-K requirements.
• Partner with parents to provide quality care and education for children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
