Job summary

CHAMBERS ELEMENTARY in Houston seeks a 2026-2027 Pre-Kindergarten Paraprofessional to support the teacher and assist students at risk of academic failure. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in improving student achievement for at-risk students.
• Check and record student attendance.
• Reproduce instructional materials.
• Distribute and collect materials for instruction.
• Read to students and support classroom reading activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, assemblies, play periods, and transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow district safety protocols.
• Participate in in-service training programs.
