Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support donor eligibility, adverse events review, and lab result interpretation. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance in a regulated plasma center environment.

The role requires EMT-Paramedic licensure, CPR/AED, and two years in a clinical setting, with state licensure requirements for IV therapy. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma.
• Manage donor adverse events and review lab results.
• Provide donor notification of unsuitable test results.
• Support Center operations under supervision of Center Manager/Physician.
