Qualifications

• 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
• Significant North Carolina and/or South Carolina plaintiff-side litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of discovery, pleadings, litigation deadlines, and trial preparation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, judgment, and time management.
• Ability to communicate with empathy while confidently handling challenging client situations.
• Self-starter who can manage priorities and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support plaintiff personal injury matters throughout the litigation process.
• Draft and file complaints, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Assist attorneys with motions, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Prepare medical summaries, case chronologies, exhibits, and trial notebooks.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients throughout their cases.
• Maintain accurate case files while handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Keep cases moving forward by proactively tracking deadlines, priorities, and next steps.
