Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PA education program.
• Minimum two years of experience in a correctional/detention facility.
• Unrestricted license, DEA registration, and BLS/PALS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute and emergency medical care per protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and mental health professionals.
• Document findings using SOAP and EMR; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support cross-coverage and psychiatric stability assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
