Qualifications

• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment following the Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes.
• Meets department productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient and department needs.
• Identifies quality and operational opportunities to improve service.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers.
• Supervises PT students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality care.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff and external customers.
• Provides patient care in accordance with age/developmental guidelines and safety standards.
• Adheres to hospital standards to support a cooperative work environment.
