Job summary

IHA in Mason City, IA is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist for day shifts to evaluate and treat patients across all ages, developing individualized treatment plans with family involvement.

You will supervise support staff, communicate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress in patient records, and guide patients through exercises and ADLs while ensuring safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Physical Therapy Program.
• Must possess/maintain license in the State of Iowa.
• Read, write and speak English.
• BLS provider certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients across ages, develops plans with family involvement.
• Directs habilitative and rehabilitative programs for physical limitations.
• Consults with patient, family, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Records progress and data in medical records; instructs on exercises and activities of daily living.
• Supervises PT assistants and technicians to ensure efficient use of resources.
