Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Personal Injury Trial Attorney in Chicago, Illinois to join its growing practice. The Trial Attorney will handle mostly catastrophic motor vehicle accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs. The lawyer's responsibilities will include trial prep and trial.

This is an unusual opportunity to pick up a fantastic group of high value cases. Responsibilities include day-to-day litigation management, drafting pleadings and motions, guiding clients, and coordinating

Qualifications

Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Illinois.
Ability to manage high volume litigation cases.
Trial experience required.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day handling of litigation cases.
Drafting and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum.
Guide clients through the case process.
Interaction with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
