Job summary

Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA is seeking a Radiology Technologist for per diem shifts to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across OR, ER, fluoroscopy, and inpatient/outpatient settings. You will ensure ALARA, proper documentation, RIS/PACS operation, and accurate labeling of images.

Requirements include ARRT registration (or registry eligible), MA Radiation Control license, two-year AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program in Radiography.
• Certified in basic life support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtains and documents patient information/history for appropriate exams.
• Documents all pertinent information involving IV/oral contrast in medical records.
• Uses RIS with accuracy and labels images with patient info and technologist initials.
• Ensures image quality and maintains a repeat rate under 5%.
• Adheres to ALARA and participates in off-site coverage as needed.
• Maintains licensure annually and collaborates with the team to provide quality patient care.
