Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Special Education Assistant at Doyle Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time role runs 29.9 hours per week from 8:10-2:35 with a half-hour unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years college coursework or an Associate Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member and communicate effectively with students and adults.

Responsibilities

• Support students with IEPs in both special and regular education settings as directed by licensed staff.
• Assist in daily activities, behavior support, and classroom management as part of a team.
• Utilize crisis prevention techniques; training provided by CBSD.
• Some assignments may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
