Job summary

LEARN Academy is interviewing for a part-time hybrid School Psychologist position for the 2026-2027 school year in the East Valley, Arizona.

You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, develop interventions, collaborate on IEPs, provide counseling, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in school psychology, current AZ IVP fingerprint card, and state licensure; school experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school psychology from an accredited program.
• Maintain state license/certification.
• School experience is preferred.
• Current AZ IVP Fingerprint card.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address learning, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement IEPs.
• Provide counseling and support services to students, individually and in groups.
• Consult with school staff on behavior management strategies and classroom interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine appropriate educational placements and services.
• Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary.
• Conduct research and program evaluation to improve school-wide practices and student outcomes.
• Advocate for students' needs and rights within the educational system.
• Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development.
• Provide trainings to instructional and related service staff.
