Job summary

Ymca Of West Bend in Port Washington, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time School Age Site Lead for Lincoln Elementary. The role supports YMCA after-school and before-school programs, coordinating care for K-5 students and ensuring a high-quality experience.

You will train staff and volunteers, ensure licensing compliance, manage program hours, and build relationships with school and families. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills and a passion for youth development.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or higher in a related field.
• 1–2 years of childcare-related experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred; required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must become Child Care Teacher qualified within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates before- and after-school childcare programs at the site.
• Develops high quality YMCA child care programs and activities.
• Trains and directs personnel and volunteers as needed.
• Ensures compliance with Wisconsin licensing and safety procedures.
• Maintains facilities and equipment to promote healthy living.
• Builds relationships with school administration and parent groups.
• Attends staff meetings and required trainings.
• Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Child Abuse Prevention policies.
