Job summary

Kettle Moraine YMCA is seeking a School Age Site Lead for Lincoln Elementary in Port Washington, WI. This part-time role coordinates before- and after-school care, day camp, and related activities, ensuring quality programs and compliance with licensing standards.

Hours are before and after the school day, 6:00–8:45 a.m. and 2:45–6:00 p.m., with a $20.00–$23.00 hourly wage and under-29-hours-per-week status. A strong commitment to youth development and community service is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• Child Care Teacher qualification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred; required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates school age childcare programs including before/after school, day camp, and kids' day out.
• Ensures high-quality programs and expands activities per plans.
• Manages site hours for school age care and assists with camp locations.
• Trains and directs personnel and volunteers as needed.
• Ensures program standards and Wisconsin licensing requirements are met; safety procedures observed.
• Maintains facilities and equipment to support healthy living.
• Builds relationships with licensing, school administration, parents and community groups; responds to inquiries and complaints.
• Attends staff meetings, trainings and other required meetings.
• Adheres to Code of Conduct and Child Abuse Prevention policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
