Job summary

Astro ABA in Aurora, CO is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide evidence-based behavioral therapies to children with autism and related disabilities. The role reports to a BCBA and involves data collection, implementing plans, and maintaining a safe therapy space.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$24 with a flexible part-time schedule (20-30 hours per week) and opportunities for professional development and training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified RBT through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred.
• No ABA experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduction of problem behaviors.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company initiatives.
