Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, correctional administration, criminology, psychology, social work or related fields.
• Parole/Probation Officer 9–11 level experience or equivalent.
• Alternate education/experience pathways as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare background reports on offenders for sentencing decisions.
• Supervise a caseload of probationers and parolees.
• May oversee sex offenders, electronic monitoring (GPS) and specialized caseloads.
• Act as an embedded agent with local law enforcement, or ICAC duties.
• Follow Department policies, DOMs, and guiding principles to meet agency goals.
