Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide outpatient services and perform barium swallow studies as part of the role. You will evaluate patients with speech, language, and swallowing difficulties, and develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities include initial evaluations, setting achievable goals, coordinating with physicians and the care team, and educating patients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS preferred within 3 months.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY completion acceptable during first year.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a wide variety of patient types and identify deficits to guide treatment.
• Perform initial evaluation, establish treatment plans and measure outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team; document thoroughly.
• Provide patient education and sustain progress with regular follow-up.
• Supervise students and participate in clinical instruction.
