Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Venice, FL is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a PRN opportunity in a senior living setting. You will contribute to individualized therapy plans and work within a compassionate, therapist-led team to support residents' daily living skills.

The role offers flexible scheduling, collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams, and opportunities to grow clinically while delivering high-quality care to patients in nursing facilities and clinics.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification as a COTA.
• Current state licensure or licensure eligibility to practice as a COTA.
• Experience in OT settings is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy based on treatment plans created by the Occupational Therapist.
• Track patient progress and maintain accurate documentation per facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families on exercises and equipment.
• Lead or assist with therapeutic activities and support patients to promote engagement.

Education
