Job summary

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a PRN weekend and as-needed schedule. You will develop treatment plans, support patient recovery through exercise and prosthetic/orthotic devices, and coordinate with the care team.

Candidates must have an accredited OT degree, an unrestricted OT license in Georgia, CPR certification, and strong organizational and communication skills to deliver patient-centered care while complying with

Qualifications

• Accredited OT degree required.
• Current and unrestricted OT license in the state of Georgia.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a specialized treatment plan to aid patient regaining well-being through exercises and prosthetic/orthotic devices.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; instruct family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Adhere to company code of conduct, compliance agreements, professional standards and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
