Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program.
• Current Georgia state licensure in Occupational Therapy.
• NBCOT certification.
• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive evaluations and testing, occupational therapy treatments, and education to seriously ill patients or those with complex medical problems within an interdisciplinary environment.
• Assists in supervising support staff and students and develops in-service training for continuing staff development.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Maintains an inventory of supplies and ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Participates in quality assurance activities and standard adherence for patient care.
• Guides and trains staff to ensure efficient operations and orients students and support staff.
