Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services planned and supervised by an Occupational Therapist. You will assist patients to prevent disability and promote active participation in recovery, following disease or injury, under physician orders and department policies.

Candidates should have an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and a preferred minimum of one year in acute care or rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Minimum one year of acute care or rehabilitation facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Provide care per department policies and procedures.
• Support maximal patient and caregiver participation in the recovery program.
• Foster efficient department operations and conserve resources.
