Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide prescribed therapeutic services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will work with clients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders to restore and prevent disability in line with hospital policies and Title 22 regulations.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in OTA, current state OT certification, and BCLS certification; NBCOT, AOTA, OTAC membership

Qualifications

• Association Degree (COTA) from an accredited program.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed therapeutic services under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist to restore and prevent disability for clients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders.
