Job summary

Northwest Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant for daytime shifts. You will screen residents and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising therapists to meet individual goals.

You will communicate evaluation findings to residents and families, coordinate schedules with the care team, and ensure accurate documentation and billing according to CMS standards. Ongoing licensure maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Must hold current OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Continued education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine optimal interventions per scope of practice
• Implement treatment plans with short and long-term goals
• Communicate evaluation findings to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Coordinate individual resident therapy schedules with other team members
• Deliver therapy per established plan and ensure proper documentation and billing
• Adhere to CMS documentation standards and complete daily documentation
