Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services is seeking an Optician to join the Eye Care team. The role focuses on assisting patients with frames and lenses, measuring and selecting eyewear, and ensuring proper fit for optimal vision. ABO certification is required within 3 years of hire, with ongoing certification maintenance.

The position follows a standard weekday schedule with occasional Saturdays, in a supportive, patient-centered environment that emphasizes teamwork and service quality.

Qualifications

• Three or more years related experience.
• Must be ABO certified on hire or obtain certification within 3 years from date of hire; keep current every three years.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with frames and lens selection based on lifestyle and prescription analysis.
• Take measurements and evaluate needs before ordering to ensure properly measured eyewear.
• Fit and adjust eyewear for optimum visual efficiency.
• Demonstrate customer service and sales standards; work as a team within Optical and Park Nicollet Clinic.
