Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist evaluation of patients' physical, perceptual, cognitive, social, and vocational abilities and daily living activities.
• Implement individualized treatment to retrain and teach compensatory techniques for daily living tasks.
• Plan discharge including home programs, family teaching, and equipment orders.
• Complete documentation with co-signatures; manage statistics, billing, and scheduling.
• Maintain neat work area and safe workflow; assist with transfers and mobility as directed.
• Demonstrate modality skills, exercise equipment use, and knowledge of indications/contraindications.
• Participate in performance improvement and coverage planning; support department needs.
• Pursue professional growth through continuing education and orientation of new staff.
