Job summary

Mercyhealth in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement treatment addressing diverse patient needs. The role is full-time with day shifts and no weekend work, plus holiday call rotations.

Must hold an OT license in WI or IL and have NBCOT eligibility; CPR/BLS within 90 days. Responsibilities include documentation, interdisciplinary communication, and participation in quality improvement initiatives, with opportunities for teaching and mentorship

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Integrates subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
• Utilizes exercise, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
• Maintains a thorough record of services provided with appropriate coding and billing.
• Communicates with other disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
• Performs thorough and timely electronic documentation.
• Participates in the PI and CQI process.
• Assists in orientation, training and mentoring of new partners.
• Plans and conducts lectures and training programs on occupational therapy for staff and community groups.
