Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Treasure Coast seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care within our inpatient rehab setting, delivering evidence-based, compassionate therapy to support independence and quality of life.

You will assess patients, develop personalized care plans, supervise treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful recovery and celebrate patient victories.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
