Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic inpatient setting. You will assess, plan, and supervise therapy services, guiding patients through personalized recovery journeys and collaborating with a supportive team.

Current licensure and CPR certification are required; a Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with substantial experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
