Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize independence and quality of life.

Required: current licensure, CPR certification, and a relevant degree (Master's preferred or Bachelor’s with experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
