Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide skilled care in home health settings in New Mexico. You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and work with families to restore daily living skills and functional independence.

The role requires state licensure and a minimum of one year of experience preferred, with Medicare home health experience considered an asset. Strong teamwork and adherence to physician orders are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional Vice President and/or Regional Director of Therapy Services approval based on prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OT services to home health patients in accordance with physicians' orders and the established plan of care.
• Teach family and health care team members to support daily living activities and motor function development.
• Administer care under the direction of the Branch Director and coordinate with other professionals.

Education

Graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy
