Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapist license, where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Optimize patient functionality by providing and supervising OT services.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and billing in line with guidelines.
• Maintain effective, patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Refer patients to occupational therapy assistants and provide supervision.
• Supervise OT assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Participate in care conferences, utilization review and case management.
• Develop and enhance OT programs and services to support outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control and patient rights policies.
• Maintain licensure and stay current with practice guidelines.
