Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to provide consultative and therapeutic services for patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders. You will work within hospital policies and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to restore function.

Requirements include a bachelor or master degree in Occupational Therapy, current state OT license, and BCLS certification; NBCOT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• NBCOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic occupational therapy services to restore function and prevent disability.
• Performs duties in accordance with department and Hospital Policies and regulatory requirements.
• Functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Education

Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy

Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license

Current BCLS (AHA) certificate

NBCOT certification preferred
