Job summary

Progressive Rehab Solutions seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized OT programs in long-term care settings. The role emphasizes improving daily living activities (ADLs/IADLs) and overall quality of life.

You will develop treatment plans, train patients in adaptive techniques, document progress, and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and families to optimize outcomes. A current OT license is required plus relevant prior experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state OT licensure required.
• 1 year of experience preferred in long-term care or rehab settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to plan individualized OT programs.
• Develop treatment plans with measurable goals and adjust as patients progress.
• Provide ADL/IADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, and orthotics training as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and supervise COTAs when applicable.
• Support professional development and evidence-based practice.
