Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a coordinator to oversee patient care for Workers' Comp and Occupational Medicine at Riverside Medical Clinic. You will manage registration, referrals, and scheduling to ensure timely, compliant care.

Responsibilities include obtaining insurer authorizations, following up on requests, and assisting with billing questions. Travel to other Occ Med clinics is required to provide coverage. Excellent communication with employers and adjusters is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care for Workers' Comp and Occupational Medicine patients.
• Register patients and manage referrals and authorizations.
• Complete work statuses, PR2s, and send to employers/adjusters.
• Obtain authorization from insurance carriers for referrals.
• Follow up on pending requests for authorization.
• Assist Business Office with billing questions.
• Coordinate transportation for new injuries and travel to other Occ Med clinics as needed.
