Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois with BLS.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1 year of telephone triage preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical triage skills.

Responsibilities

• Review patient voicemails and contact patients by phone or MyChart to assess care needs.
• Provide medical advice or direct to emergency or urgent care as needed.
• Conduct telephone assessments and use teach-back to ensure understanding.
• Route high-risk cases to ED and schedule physician appointments as needed.
• Assist in exam rooms, record vitals, and prepare for procedures.
• Perform immunizations and assist with venipuncture, specimen collection, and lab tests.
