Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform all Nuclear Medicine procedures under the Nuclear Medicine Manager and Clinical Director. The NMT delivers safe imaging, participates in QA/QI activities, and trains new hires.

Required: AS degree in nuclear medicine, ARRT/NMTCB, MA Radiologic Tech license; CT certification within 1 year; current BLS or within 90 days. Sign-on incentive for external hires.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program and an AS degree (BS/MS preferred).
• Current certification/registration in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT/NMTCB) and MA Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine.
• CT certification and MA Radiologic Technologist License in CT required within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS certification or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to departmental policies; fosters collaboration among clinical, technical and support staff.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; ensures patient safety during procedures.
• Performs nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and radionuclide therapy procedures; manages imaging datasets and records.
