Job summary

The role requires WV licensure or eligible licensing, ARRT/NMTCB certification within six months, and Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities include imaging, safety practices, and participation in department quality initiatives, with day shifts and a 40-hour work week in a non-exempt setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current or temporary Nuclear Medicine license as required by state board where services will be provided.
• ARRT/NMTCB registration within six months of hire and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs full range of nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures.
• Minimizes radiation exposure to patients and staff according to policy and regulatory bodies.
• Attends departmental meetings and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Plans and performs imaging procedures meeting department standards and protocol.
• Reports equipment failures promptly to ensure continuous radiology services.
