Job summary

CLA is seeking an Assurance Director/Manager to join our growing Non-Profit practice in California. You will lead client engagements, grow relationships, and help nonprofits meet their financial and compliance objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, at least 6 years in public accounting with audits, and a CPA license. Government and single-audit experience is preferred. CLA offers competitive pay and strong opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience with focus on financial statements and audits.
• CPA license required; government and single audits experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with clients.
• Assist clients in obtaining funding to support community impact.
• Assist clients with audit and financial planning objectives using various tools.
• Mentor staff and oversee engagement teams.
• Lead engagement progress, monitor budgets and deadlines, report to the engagement principal with findings and recommendations.
