Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Neonatology team in Enola, PA. This position offers opportunities in a Level II NICU, with responsibilities in the well-baby nursery and delivery room.

After orientation, the NNP will be credentialed and work both independently and with attending physicians to provide high-quality care to critically ill and newborn patients in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program.
• National certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC).
• Current Pennsylvania RN and CRNP licensure (or eligible).
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Level II NICU as part of the Neonatology team.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare team to deliver high-quality neonatal care.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, imaging) as needed.
• Prescribe medications and interventions within scope of practice; inpatient critical care setting.

Education

Master's degree in Neonatal Nursing (NNP)

NNP-BC certification

PA RN and CRNP licensure (or eligible)
