Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers curriculum aligned to district goals
• Promotes safe, conducive learning environments and individualized instruction
• Plans lessons and instructional materials to maximize learning time
• Assesses student learning and adapts methods to student needs
• Communicates with students, parents, and administration about progress and expectations
• Maintains orderly records of student progress and attendance
• Coordinates with grade-level staff for curriculum evaluation and school initiatives
• Supervises students during activities outside the classroom and during transportation
