Job summary

Intrepid College Prep is a network of free, college preparatory public charter schools in the Nashville area. We seek a dedicated teacher to deliver rigorous, college-ready instruction and engage in targeted differentiation for diverse learners across grades 5–12.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee Certification in the appropriate content area.
• B.A./B.S. degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in an urban public or charter school.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Internalize, accommodate, and execute a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum including daily lesson plans and unit plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure academic growth for EL students and students with disabilities.
• Utilize structured planning time and professional development opportunities to plan high-quality lessons.
• Engage in a community where teaching is public, including classroom visits and feedback cycles.
• Share teaching strategies, visit peer classrooms, and analyze academic achievement data to develop best practices.
• Commit to a school culture of consistency and high expectations by implementing school-wide systems and procedures.
• Participate in after-school programs as needed.
• Engage in limited optional evening/weekend student recruitment and community outreach events as needed.
• Other school success duties as assigned.
